Hey all, i think i want to sell my turbo/nitroused mr2 for an s13. And build a nice little race car. Can anyone throw up some pics of a s13, (i want black) with 5zigen Pro N1's? I really want to see them in bronze. The corpes interest me too, anyone?

Heres the n1's:

I have the hypersilver so maybe you can get an idea of what they will look like. I have a few old pics online here (http://filebox.vt.edu/users/rcavey/My%20Car/)

Hope this helps.

5ZR Copse, not corpse. No dead bodies please.

And it is a Black Racing Pro-N1, not a 5Zigen wheel.

Thanks, Alex. Could he be thinking of Becketts N1?

No, because Wheel Max ****ed it up for everyone by 1) advertising it as a 5Zigen wheel, and 2) including the wheel under the 5Zigen section on their website.

Pics of it on S13, 17x8" +20 17x9" +38:

It's just those cheesy center caps that urk me everytime... Don't get me wrong, luv the wheels. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on some custom center caps being made for the Typhoons, til then no caps.

Hey, yeah i know that those N1's aren't exactly 5zr, and that wheelmax is..well you know. But i was just using it for reference. Sorry about the corpse thing too, i was in a hurry making this thread. Isnt black racing a part of 5zr though?

mav1178- What size tires are those?

I would really like to see those bronze black racing wheels on a black fastback. Does anyone have them, or can photochop? Or link? Or something??

Thanks!

Black Racing is a company in Japan, not affiliated with 5Zigen International. 5ZR is a product name.

5Zigen USA imports the Black Racing wheels but they are sold through a handful of distributers (and the distributers are in charge of marketing the wheels).

The tires are Bridgestone RE730, 225/45-17 front 245/45-17 rear.

Oh and center caps are available in red (standard) and optional blue or gold.

I was under the impression that Black Racing is a division of Arrow Enterprise, who also produced the 5Zigen, Gewault, and Genesis brands. I think that you are correct though (and I was previously misled) that it is just a company that is imported to the US through 5Zigen's distribution process, and distributed in Japan by a variety of companies, including Arrow.

I have a set of bronze 17x8's running 245/40/17s all around on my 2+2, and I think that they are a great wheel, personally. I wasn't terribly wild about the centercaps either, when I got the wheels, and considered painting them black, but I decided just not to f*ck with it. They still look good, IMHO, even with the somewhat tacky centercaps.

Arrow Enterprise makes NO wheels for 5Zigen.

5Zigen's wheels are made by other factories in Japan. I don't "think" that I am correct, I know b/c I work @ 5Zigen and I helped with importing of Black Racing, Work Wheels, and other brands in the future.

The one thing I love about the Arrow Enterprise wheels is that their casting process is superb and possibly the best I've seen in the 4+ years I've been in this industry. A sign of a good wheel is how the backpad area of the wheel is done; good casting wheels always have clean lines where the wheel molds have edges and the casting itself should be relatively smooth with minimal inperfections. People in the US tend to get cheap wheels; thus the need for cheap processes, and when you go cheap on anything you will always lose out on something with the wheel (paint, casting, structure, quality, etc).

You get what you pay for.
