I was casually browsing through Car Doamin when I came upon this red '86 Fiero GT. The pictures were nice so I decided to check it out... I got to the interior and and my hearts damn near stopped. Same wheel, same mats, same CD player, same Kenwood 4x10 speakers (can't see in the pic, but they're listed in the mod, as is the K&N filter I got for it). You can tell by my address book comment I am so f'ing excited...maybe this means I am meant to have another Fiero!!!!!!!
Here is my beauty: http://www.cardomain.com/id/hallsman
I just went into my closet and got the original steering wheel....sniff =*( Come to think of it, I still have the Autotechnica box for the steering wheel and the original floor mats.
At first I was a little skeptical, then I saw he was in Michigan - I sold my Fiero to guy in Marquette, Michigan about two years ago!!!!!
Hot damn I could cry and leap for joy all at once...I've missed that car so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL You buying it again?
Sounds like something I'd do. I'd go nuts if the girl that has my first 240 decided to sell it. I'd be all over that car.

That's great! I don't think I'd recognize my first car even if it ran me down in the street. Of course, it was a light blue '89 Mercury Sable, so I'm not really all that keen on owning it again. :)

I used to have a fiero. But I sold it and the new owner abandoned it somewhere when it broke down. They do have a lot of electrical issues, but the parts are always cheap.

Not sure what I want to do yet...
I'm selling my Cadillac to get money for taxes. After paying off some bills and putting some in savings, I'd have $2000 left over. I could either spend that on my 240sx (exhaust, headers, LSD, CAI, you get the idea) OR I got an offer for $2100 cash from a guy here in Tulsa. I could take that ($4100 total) and see about a Northstar swap. Dunno though...I hear the Northstar requires all custom brackets. The engine + tranny + ECU + harness would run about $1500, about $500 for a Fiero, and whatever's left over for the swap. A 3800 V6 SeriesII Supercharged might be a more logical route. Met with a guy who did the whole 3800 swap (including engine, trans, etc and the Fiero itself) for like $4000, but he said he could do it again for $3000 or less. That'd leave $1100+ for minor repairs, paint job, mods, etc.
Anyone wanna offer some advice  :D
Oh BTW, the guy with the 3800 is running mid 11's with only $6000 total invested. He's done some port&polish, has cams, exhaust, pulleys, race chip, had slicks and was running on 96 octane when he ran 11.633 @ 115.927mph in the quarter. I figure a stock 3800 S/C should run high 13's...low 13's or high 12's with some mods and/or slicks. Here's his site: http://www.fierox.com/
