Okay before i would have to push the trunk down a little bit and turn the key to open the trunk but that no longer works. Also on the driver side I pulled the lever and it seems as if the cable snapped or something ? Now i can't get my trunk open and i don't know what to do. it's a '95 zenki.[/B]

try climbing in your trunk and pulling the safelty release lever (the thing incase some is in a trunk so they can get out)

make sure your trunk is aligned properly?
you may need to loosen/tighten the bolt in the middle and make it straight again.

100% agree.
My s14 would do this to me all the time. It was REALLY fun when I had a jack and 2 wheels in the trunk. Jeez. talk about a pain in the ass.

one of the little plastic pieces broke on my S13 trunk key cylinder thing.
The only way to open it is to have someone hold the trunk lever up, and pull it up.
Trunks suck, once you get it open, release the mechanism like it closed, and put your key in and try and unlock it.
Look for whats not happening in there and you will find what needs fixed/replaced.
