I am interested in purchasing a silvia triple din gauge...but I want to modify it. Can anyone confirm that the three included gauges are 60mm, or what size they are? I would like to replace the gauges with HKS gauges of my choosing, if it can indeed accomodate them. If anyone could provide some insight on this I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance everyone.

They are nowhere near 60mm. I think they're 46mm, but I don't have my car handy to measure.
The DIN opening is 2" tall, so that would equate to 50.8mm, there's no way three 60mm gauges would fit without a lot of cutting.

good to know. i guess the ati ez pod is the cleanest way to use 60mm gauges without modifying dash, vents, etc?

No clue what that is, but the opening is too small for any 60mm gauge. As I said it's only 2" tall, so you could only fit a 60mm gauge if you used both DIN spots, eliminating the radio.
Look at it like this, each DIN hole is 2" x 7", or very near, the OE trim is actually a hair smaller. so that's 50.8mm x 177.80mm, for a total opening area of 101.4mm x 177.80mm with the radio removed.
Three 60mm gauges would be 180mm plus the width needed for trim, so there is no way to fit three of them across. You would need the smaller 52mm gauges to put three across in one opening, but you'd still overlay the radio slightly due to added height.

Yeah, your best bet is that ATI pod or the Autometer one. Both are for 52mm but can apparently be bored out to accomodate 60mm. If you really want to put your gauges in the DIN, fab up your own custom setup. I think there might even be specific kits for that. Personally, I'd use the Autometer gauge pod since it mounts on the A-pillar so you just barely have to glance over at your gauges instead of looking down at the ATI pod or DIN.
