Here's video of the Monster World Rally Team WRC Ford Focus shakedown. It's going to be interesting to see how Ken Block handles the heat in Mexico.
I predict that he'll at least beat Raikkonen if he doesn't DNF. We'll be down in Mexico end of the week for this one so stay tuned for more info on this and other news surrounding the event.

Dang, he has a great driving style. Not super aggressive, just beautiful racing drifts.

Ford will be bringing the 2.0 turbo Focus to North America end of the year as a 2011 model. It's all part of their new global focus initiative. Probably will be marketed as a SVT model.

I would have thought that he'd have a little more seat time before the first WRC race of the year

Exactly. Citroen and Ford were killin it in the 09 wrc season. I hope he does well though. There were no americans in the leader boards for the 09 season. Ken Block has 0 points as of right now. Dont know if he wrecked or what.

Citroen and Ford have been the two most competitive teams in WRC in the
last few seasons.
Mitsu dropped out because they couldn't keep up, Rallyart went belly up.
Subaru, which I love, barely had a car scratch the top ten in Mexico just recently - a privateer to boot.

I don't know much about Ken Block but I was impressed
for driving a car in which he only had one test day he was very good
was on the pace in Mexico and got up to 7/8 till his retirement - misjudged a braking point and sent the car into the side of the mountain road
but Kimmi, whom I like as an F1 driver, had a better retirement at least
went off a cliff and flipped about three times :duh:
and fucking Loeb, he is a monster

I see. Im gonna try to watch rally mexico tonight. Maybe a pace note error? Sebastian Loeb is damn good though. I like Latvala, he has a lot of potential but last season had too many errors.

Yes, pace note error
I can't help but cheer for the guy, great driving and attitude to go with it
but the story of the weekend had to be Petter Solberg's 2nd place podium
the guy had a terrible time in Finland and came back strong in his own private team
after pretty much having been written off WRC
