Man, what will they think of next for the mothersuckers..
If I floored my car with that thing in the air intake pipe, it would be sucked through the valve body and shredded out the tailpipe.
Poor sparkplugs and pistons...
I know NO ONE HERE is that stupid!...but we do get the occasional newbee that may type in the word SCAM in the search, and probably save someone some grief.
Sorry,
Just a friendly public service anouncement from yours truely!
Ziliva member extrodinaire.
(looking forward to hearing about the sticker boys that claim it gave them 100 horsepower)... LOL
Get a load of the dyno chart...200HP at 1500 RPM??? LOL ROTFLMAOFMR
(rolling on the floor laughing my a$$ off f*ck me running)
Notice the poor spelling
\
This blower comes with a warranty and a guarentee to improve hore power or money back!
But wait if you buy one today you will also recieve a T-Chip for free!!!
That is an additional 15-30HP gain for FREE!!!
Also notice who is actually bidding on them...Honda people./
What a joke.
Receive is I after E if preceded by a C. I think that was 3 grade spelling?
These are not the only two.
I know I make typos, but I am not selling something...AND this is so blatent....please please...this is better than TV actually, especially seeing the bidders of BMW (fine machines) and Hondas (another nicely designed transport pod) doing this to their cars. AHAGHAGH
Horsepower is not "hore power" Should be HOE POWER!!!! LOL
And!!!
On one of them he says....
All I am selling is the link so you can chose which one you want and go from there.
Holy Mother of God...
Sorry, it is amusing.
Think I will play "amused to death" by Roger Waters now...
Look down the page. (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2 F&krd=1&from=R8&MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&ht=1&SortProperty=MetaEndSort&query=electric+turbo)

Electric superchargers are great! +.5 to .8 hp YEAH
Hehe whats funny is my friend got one for $hits and grins for his maxima. We put a metal mesh screen in just incase the blades break and put that baby on a switch in his car..
We cut a hole in his K&N 2.5 or 3' hole.. (cant remember) bolted a air filter adapter flange on there mounted the electric turbo in the fenderwell. Ran a hose down to it and put another K&N on the fan blower. We also have an inline fuse for the e-fan so it wont kill his electric system if it pops..
Now the thing is... you can feal quite a diffrance when you punch the gas with it on vrs off.... I dont think its all in our head eather. But hey you have to admit... it HAS to add power.. the whole thing is it just lets you car breath without trying to suck at all..
If we turn it on at idle it adds so much air it makes the engine choke.. get it up to 2.5k+ and its happy..
we might take it off his car and put it on mine.. then I wana dyno it ON and OFF to see what it does...
He wont dyno his car...... I have no idea why..
Soooo.. I'll try to talk him into letting my barrow it.. and I'll giva ya a real dyno..... What a dyno cost anyways?

Think about this. For 150 bucks (unless you have the cheapy one (LOL) you can buy a head gasket and valve cover gasket,Intake and exaust gaskets and timing chain cover gaskets..and gasket seal..and even a thermostat and new gasket, rent a die grinder, get some new grinding heads, learn how to port and polish and get REAL BALANCED HORSEPOWER that lasts forEVER.
I am sure that their is some part of the curve if it was powerful enough and had the right engine management system (not a switch) then it could be viable...but those fit all and get horespower things..you must admit..it is a BS alert.
Now, looks like you and your friends took precautionary measures to make sure the parts don't get sucked down the head if it explodes due to being a cheap plastic fan. Non ball bearing motor.
See, Fuel Air mixture is a precision managed proper thing. No way that this device is controlled to make your engine run right. You can run too lean and burn a valve, you can coat the entire head/valve/exaust system with too much carbon.
I just don't want to see a 240SX treated that way (Especially since it has so much potential doing it right)...fair enough?
Imagine the blades going through the filter and into the valve body.
PS, Dyno Test. friends let you do it at no charge...the usual cost is between 12 dollars and 60...depending on the situation. Some have charged 100...which is a ripoff IMO.
Whatever you are willing to pay.
Now this is what it is all about, real juice, not fake plastic motors. You want for real...you need a starter that is geared to run a turbine that is computer controlled with a braking system to do any real good at all...or just burn a valve and carbon up the engine ond confuse the crap out of the ECM.

And this is the other end of the spectrum...

325.00 for a coin purse that has another a$$holes name on it other than mine..BEWARE! 405. for some walmart loafers you can get for 15 bucks.
I got tired of this BS, reason I got divorced.
Ok richboyz, do these get you laid???

Are those the new Jordan low's? haha
Those electric superchargers are like those garbage "supercharge any car for 69.99" ads I always see in the back of the car magazines!

Havin' a good day there, Bill? :P
Hey, just out of curiosity, how long would you figger it'd take somebody with above-average mechanical ability to port and polish for the first time?

I have been known to spend $400 on shoes...:coolugh: But that's because I like them (and I'm a dumas), NOT to impress anyone. I'm willing to bet that no one could tell the difference, and that's a good thing to me. :p I do get ****ed when people step on them though. Especially girls thinking that they're being cute...
edit: Ok, that sounded smarmy. I'm not rich, I just spend money on stupid things I like. Sometimes its cars, sometimes its motorcycles, sometimes its women, sometimes its shoes... :p

Ah...my dear lad anubis..
The relationship of those shoes VS the wild claims of the device in question is a "parady".
10 dollars to make your car fast and 400 dollars for some designer shoes that have less than 2 dollars worth of material in them.
The reference given is by P.T Barnum...founder of Barnum and Baileys circus.

To misnomer:
I feel with a proper trainer and watching the trainer do one cylinder properly, you can as a novice perform the beginning task of getting rid of the die/sand casting marks in the intake manifold and rounding out the pipes to match. As far as valve bowl polishing, that takes "aerodynamic" experience.
It helps to practice with a 30,000 RPM die grinder for a while on different trash objects to get the hang of its torque...but I feel confident that a person with above average ability with the proper master by their side can do a very competent job.
My First experiences were on BUG heads in the mid 70's and after picking up on what to look for..I feel I can do it decent. A true head master can extract 30% more horsepower with their total grinding methods. I have seen it done with my own two eyes. Just know how thick what you are grinding is so not to weaken the stucture or punchure the structure by grinding a non intended hole.
Study will get you very far, pretty quick.
I probably have 70 hours of grinding experience and so far, it always yields improvements. Just think what you can do to imporove flow. Smooth out rough surfaces and tunnel a real nice pattern for air to follow easier to the back of the valves..and make sure you have a damn good scale , down to the milligrams to equal your grinding for balance. You will need to use compressed air for a good die grinder and the same air for blowing the particles totally away. Shavings left over are not good for the engine..!!
It can be a fun experience and I highly recommend you get some good grinding cones and some buffers and get busy on an old head laying around. I always polish my valve seals by hand though using valve polishing compound and the actual valve..and a drill motor...and I am very careful. I time the licks.
Once you have a bullet proof seat, you will know. I really like doing all of the above on the heads, intake and exaust but you MUST have the finest of tools, lighting conditions and patience..and a few extra bucks helps.

Yeah I feel sorry for the ones that get suckered. I mean I would naturally be afraid of that fan getting sucked in and get stuck in side my cylinder.
Oh Bill Roberts, unrelated but what does the MR at the end of ROTFLMAOFMR mean? I have never seen those two extra chars, but I have seen the rest.
The fan blades... I have a plan for some nice metal mesh... thick mesh.. no way it will get it...
Ohh and Bill.. this place wants to charge me 89.99$ for the first 1hr and 50$ for every 1hr after.. Ouch (For the dyno)
I told them there will be nothing to tune... guess i'll keep looking for a good cheep dyno.
I want to dyno now... Dyno after my intake idea.. and with the fans running.... should be neat to see what happens..
I'm willing to spend the cash and time to do this test right... So I can let you all know if its real BS or just mostly BS or even not BS at all.
I plan on doing a Cost per HP with this... vrs. other items such as Headers, Exaust Pipes, Intakes, and other things.. I mean even the Unortadox pullys show 12hp gain... for 400$ (OUCH) If I can pull an extra 5hp out of this for only 100$ it is totaly worth it. IMHO
(I guess don't knock it tell you try it... that what i'm doing)
EDIT: I'll even post pic's
