I just bought a key set to switch mine out.

Anyone know how to take off the ignition on the steering column?

there are two bolts on the bottom side that you need to drill 2 small holes into and turn with some needle nose pliers. i have gotten them off before by hammering them with a small chisel until you get a groove deep enough to spin them out with a flat head, but drilling and using pliers is way easier

if you dgaf about it

unbolt your plastic column trim.
get a large pipe and stick it over the ignition cylinder.
torque the fuck out of it until it breaks off.

if you gaf about it

drill a hole directly in the center of both bolts securing the cylinder to the column.
use a bolt extractor and remove them.

if you gaf about it but dont have money for a bolt extractor

drill a hole directly in the center of both bolts securing the cylinder to the column.
use a larger bit to drill the head off of the threads.

A couple of taps with a hammer and chisel will loosen it enough to be turned by hand.

They're not on all that tight.

Really easy method would be drilling a rather small hole in the middle, then using a reverse drill bit.

I just took a cut off wheel with it. If you don't have steady hands, then I would not recommend that but it is the fastest way to get it off
