There's absolutely nothing wrong with this camera... My car just needs a new clutch and some brake pads, and I rarely use it. Best offer takes it + shipping.

Its an Olympus C-3030, comes with a 32mb memory chip, floppy disk adapter and software.

edit: oh yeah, batteries not included. ;) :D

Guys...3.3 megapixel Olympus digital cameras probably go for $400+
Hell, my 2 megapixel canon cost me $300 6 months ago!

Prices must be plummeting. My dad just got a new 5.0mpx Olympus Camedia digital camera 3 weeks ago for a little under $400 inlcuding tax and shipping. From an authorized vendor too.

How'd you take a picture of your camera? did you put it facing a mirror and use a stick or something to press the button? just wondering hehm, kinda looks like you used a straw or something

Not to hijack this thread or swerve off topic, but where did he get a 5.0 megapixel camera for under $400? Inquiring minds want to know. I am in the market for such a deal...

those of you shopping for a digital camera should not only look at megapixels. what's most important is the lens. If you have a 3 megapixel camera with a crappy lens, a 2 megapixel camera with a better lens will give you a better picture.

a friend of mine bought a 3 megapixel cheapo for 300 and it had lots of trouble getting good picture with indoor lighting and it's focusing range with not what he wanted. so his images were only good in sunlight and details on objects would often be blurred.

you guys might not even know what megapixels mean and how it works, and i see many people with high megapixel cameras using a lower setting to save space because taking pictures at maximum megapixel settings takes up too much space.

i know most of you don't know much about photography, but if read some reviews, and do some research, you'll get a camera that you'll be happy with.

the manufacturers i would suggest when buying a camera would be canon, nikon, olympus, minolta...there might be a few more good manufacturers out there, but i don't know them all.

Definitely read reviews. And 3.2mpx is more than enough for the average person, unless you like to make posters and billboards. My friend uses a 1.5mpx cheapo digicam and it works fine. I never use full resolution on our digicam. High resolution cameras are almost useless without really good printers.

hehe...sorry for stealing the thread

it just seems that people think that a camera that has more pixels is better when it's the lens that really makes the difference and i just had to try to point it out

anyway, that camera is a pretty good one. it has a zoom range of 6.5mm~19.5mm, which is equivalent to 32mm~96mm on 35mm cameras. If I'm reading the specs correctly, it's widest aperature is f/2.8 in all zoom ranges so it's a fast enough lens for many people. shutter speed range is 1~1/800. all the specs can be seen here

YES, to perpetuate the thread-hijacking, my 2 mpx canon ELPH has some of the clearest, nicest digital pictures I've ever seen, better than a lot of the 3 mpx ones you see...the one this guy's selling is well worth $300...

misnomer

If only I had money right now. I might be able to fork up one fifty for it, but I'll admit it's worth more. Hate to be another person who can't afford it just sayin' how good it is, but that was one of the top cameras in it's class a few years ago, damn fine camera, if only I could afford it (had an MSRP of ~$600 - $800 originally).

$150 is not starting to sound too bad... I really need to get rid of it now. I just got jacked $190 off some deal and It would kinda make up for it.
