I have an rb20 that i'm planning on rebuilding while the head's off I want to chrome it out how would I go about doing that or is there a kit that does it? NEED HELP! Thanks

Um just the valve cover or the whole head. If its the whole head You cant

you could polish the valve cover. it'll get to the same "shinyness" as chrome i guess if that's what you're looking for...

I think thats what he is wanting to do, just polish the valvecovers and you will get the same effect an chrome

all it takes is different grains of sand paper, rubbing compound,
& lots of elbow grease'

basically, you need time. take the valve covers off, spray them with aircraft remover. get all the paint off. once that is done, start scuffing them at around 600 and work it all the way to 2000 grit. then once thats done get mothers chrome polish and go at it. it will take a few hours. its not easy. or if you want to do a easier way. get a wire wheel on a gun and go at it, then hand do 2000 grit and do the polish its quicker

little bump. thanks for the help guys. I'm going to sand down the valve covers on the rb and paint it the same color as my car. hopefully it comes out CLEAN. charcoal gray like the bmw's on a 240sx should be promising along with charcoal gray valve covers.
