carbon fiber headlight covers!

dang. i wish someone would make cf headlight covers for our s13 popups. i would like to get a cf hood, but i just dont like the idea of havin mismatched headlight covers from the hood. it looks weird to me and layin cf sticker over the covers are just gay.

does anyone know anyone who makes cf headlight covers? maybe i should try a diy and make my own fiberglass headlight covers and lay cf over them. but i dont know the first thing about layin cf..

um... or you could just paint your hood to match the rest of your car... I always thought having say, a red car, with a black CF hood looked ricey, but that's just me. i could give a crap less whether people know I have a CF hood or not, if I buy one, it's cuz I'm concerned about weight... or I trashed my stock one ;)

oh c'mon now, be fair, VERY few people actually build up a machine like JDMRICE. You're kidding yourself if you don't think that 90% of CF hoods don't go onto ricer vehicles that only care about bling value. Just today i saw 3 cars (2 civics and a jetta) with black hoods with a contrasting color (2 white, 1 green). I only one of them was actually CF, the others I'm assuming just wanted to look like they had a CF hood.

Saying that I implied that the JDMRICE car is ricey (an irony itself) is a completely ridiculous statement. If anything, it was a race car (of true JDM style too, looking equally at home on the carpet surrounded by angelic females). I had the utmostrespect for that car, even after it's somewhat demise, and i'm offended that you think I'd talk trash about it in any way.

parts of a car can be ricey, wether or not you want to label it as rice is your choice. Some ricemobiles have crazy power, and cool drivers, that overshadow the rice. Others are just all show no go with drivers who think thier cars can beat anything.:axe:

CF Dash kit (I'm not sure I like the stick on crap)
CF Shift knob (Leaning to Nismo GT counterweight rubber or titan)
CF & Leather wheel (Its not leagal to get rid of the air bag?)
Race seats / redone with Black leather (maby with red edges (to rice))

Of corse this is like LAST thing to be done... If ever. I like the sleeper idea and may paint a CF hood to match.

The wheels are not a last tho... I will strip whatever I get and electroplate them black.

but the interio, cf dash kit, its going to be custom fitted, i dont recall any company making one that is not 100% cf, everything is that sticker junk, which IS rice, imho

i wouldnt go leather seats, but taht's just me
if its a show car, yeah go leather w/ the stitching. black w/ red stitchingi s pretty hot imho. i like it alot, i just would never haev it

im going black/grey interior w/ the red bride brix (though im toying w/ sticking to the grey/black brix). right now borrwoing dorifto's red brix and im totally digging it..decisions decisions..big one too! hahah

ive never heardof cf covers..most people if they care, will paint them black or as best they can to match the hood.

I had one a while ago and was going to make them, but here is the problem. They are not the cheapest to make, since it's CF. And unlike the the vented fiberglass ones we have on silviaparts.com, these have to come in two or it would look very stupid(one side is cf and one side is painted). I didn't think too many people would be interested since it's probably going to be somewhat expensive and just dropped the idea.

i don't think cf covers would look good, since the front of the hood is further back than the front of the covers
