I was talking to a wiring company that does alot of s13/s14/s15/rb engine wiring and I asked about creating a race chassis harness (keeping the basics, wipers, directionals, power windows, and he said if the demand is there he would produce plug and play chassis harness kits. Any interest out there.
Im going to keep the company name confidential because I dont want to take away from the other companies on the site. If the intrest is their, then I will persuade him to be a advertiser on the site

it all depends on quality and pricing which isn't mentioned.

I know what you mean, but he was just trying to figure out how much demand there is for pre-fabbed race harness'. Basically the question is, if there was plug and play race harness' for s chassis available, a direct replacement ,slim fit and would eliminate usesless wiring ,would you consider picking one up for a reasnable price. I really dont know how much he's looking to charge but Im hoping its cheap

Would this be a complete chassis harness, to replace both the under-hood harness and also the dash/interior harness?
If so, I would be interested.
I just want my headlights to go up and down again.

Well here is the thing. Wiring specialties is starting to make brand new pre-made plug in sr20 conversion engine harnesses and priced them at 350 dollars. I can't imagine a chassis harness being cheaper than that. I actually would think that it would cost quite a bit more than that.
Are people willing to pay 500-600 dollars for a chassis harness? I'm not. My chassis harness is fine. I'd rather spend them money elsewhere.
Are other people willing? Maybe? Maybe if they have a current problem with their chassis harness.

If it can include all exterior lights, wipers/washer, ignition, possibly fuel pumps and gauge power/lighting...I'd be down...not really worried about power windows/locks, maybe as an option...get a price and let us know...
