alright, i have 1996 240sx with the orig KA. i need some suggestion or info on what yall might think it is.

*ive replaced the thermostat, fan clutch and upgraded to a mishimoto rad. and dual electric radiator fans and silicone hoses.

after a few minutes shell run hot then from there its a rollercoaster ride on the temp gauge. ill run the heat on full blast then itll cool a tad. when i stop at a light it will rise, then when i get some air flowing itll cool to about half way on the temp gauge.(at the lowest)

Also after riding for a while,it wont stay at a steady idle.

i pulled over and the radiator was extremely hot but the overflow tank wasnt warm AT ALL. I checked the dip stick for air and there wasnt any so.. i need some suggestions.

Stock exhaust? I don't know if a clogged cat would be that sporadic but it could at least lead to some issues like that. I'm currently dealing with a cooling issue kind of like yours, just not as bad.

have u bled all the air out of the system? sounds like there may still be a small bubble behind the thermostat.
