So for the past few days my car has been bogging out and burning gas quickly and idling high. i have checked the maf and the plugs, basically i cover all the basics. Today after having a friend look at it we found out that the Idle Air Control Valve has noting plugged up to it. it has two outlets where im assuming some lines should plugged up to and also a connector which i assume plugs up to some sensor or something. i got no clue what is supposed to connect to this so any info on what should be connected to it would be great. thanks.

do you have a picture of where the part is missing? but if ur talking about the iacv and u have a stock throttle. there should be a bolt on the top u can use a philip to turn that bolt to adjust the idle. the bolt should turn to the tightest. other then that if u get a picture of what is missing we can have a better idea of whats missing that u need to replace.
