View Full Version : CA Redtop Rebuild Head $500

I got this redtop Head that was rebuilt about 1500 miles. Rebuilt consist of Brand new OEM Valve stems seals
Brian Crower Springs and Retainers
Resurfaced head and decked
Rocker arm stoppers....
Head is pretty much in immaculate condition. Head comes with stock camshafts and head bolts. If you install some Aftermaket camshafts this head can be a partial built head.All it would need would be some oversized valves.Ill letting it go for $500OBO.Preferred local pickup but i'm willing to ship at buyers expense...PM me if interested..

The picture of the combustion chambers..... was it taken before the head was decked? It doesn't look like it... but maybe it's just the picture?

http://www-personal.umich.edu/~taesoo/SRHead/IMG_0349.jpgthe head has been put together once so it has the head gasket markings on the bottom.it was decked 1500miles back so of course its not gonna look like the picture you posted...

A head that was decked and has 1500 miles on it doesn't mean anything. If anything was torqued down wrong or if the engine was over heated or warped the head has to be redecked. I'm not saying that this applies to your head, I'm just saying that a freshly decked head is only useful if it hasn't been compressed with a head gasket.


Back on topic though, would you do $500 shipped?
