I have been searching for quite some time now, looking for RB25 S14's with a low mount HKS manifold. I cannot seem to find a single example, even though people say it can be used. Does anyone have any ideas, as to if it fits, and if so, what is the largest turbo that can be run? I use the Syko mount kit with an R33 crossmember. Thank you

Manifold will not fit S-chassis with aftermarket mount kits, the turbo housing will contact the mount. Only 'kinda' works with R32 or 33? crossmember and even then you have to notch the stock mount to make it fit. Also you need the expensive HKS 4-bolt wastegate and you need to plumb the screamer tube back into the dump pipe or you will get some kind of irregular exhaust pulsations.
The only person I know of running an HKS manifold is Carl H who has an RB20 S14. I think he is running some generic 60 trim T3 turbo. I was looking for one myself but after learning all this it's not worth it.

Thank you for the response. I actually have two left over 4 bolt HKS wastegates from my RB26, so that is not an issue. I am using the Syko Performance mount kit which uses an R33 crossmember. I am most concerned with steering shaft clearance?
Is there a link to this guy "Carl H" with this manifold?

Carl H is located on almost every nissan message board, you should be able to search up his name. He is surely on here and over at 240sxforums.com.
I'm about 95% positive that the only way you are gonna get the HKS manifold to work on a s-chassis RB car is with a skyline crossmember and stock rubber mounts. No mount kits work...including syko.
The only thing that might change everything is if you run a tiny turbo and then you might be able to get away with a mount kit, but according to Carl the only solution is stock mounts. But now that I think about it the HKS manifold only came with a T3 or T4 flange so you won't have luck finding a small turbo.
