So i am doing a sohc AUTO to DOHC manual swap on my girlfriends car. Everything is done with the swap but and i am having two issues that puzzle me.

The first issue is this

It seems the crank pulley only allows 2 belts. So i am assuming this might be an s14 motor? I have never really worked on KA dual cams so i am kind of lost as to why this only holds two belts. Am i missing something?

The second issue is when i hooked up the positive side of the battery i heard a crazy whining sound that seemed to be coming from the alternator. The battery post was arcing a bit so i immediately pulled off the positive side. I was thinking maybe these plugs were an issue caused by this but i believe these are suppose to be empty because i am using a SOHC auto under harness.

If anybody can give me some suggestions or answers to these issues that would be great. If you need anymore info on the setup of this car, let me know.

The DOHC crank pulley is a two piece unit with damper in the middle, maybe someone took yours apart.

The alternator grounding out is probably due to it being connected incorrectly or the plastic insulator being broken/missing from the charging stud.
