94 Chevy Corsica (V6), about 180,000 miles
Only bad thing he said is that the interior could use some work (I can always go to AutoMD), but for someone that doesn't know anything about that car...Is that a good deal?

if you need a car, you need a car.. is it one color?
But at least try not to get a bucket.. once you have a nice car after a bucket, you never want to go back to having a bucket again..
One of my classmates says she will drop 1.5k on a bucket because shes tired of walking and will take anything,.. im trying to tell her tho that she could find a decent looking car for that much, just dont settle for a piece of shit just because its cheap..

bought 89 240sx for $400 dollars
machine shop $1027
being able to be back in a 240sx priceless

My sister was given a 94 corsica with 100k or so on the clock as a gift by our grandfather. She was grateful and drove it at the start of her senior year in high school, parking next to her classmates BMWs. Within about 3 weeks the blasted thing was overheating, throwing codes, and at one point kept running while keys were out of the car. We ended up getting rid of it and letting her use the ES300 instead. I only drove it a few times and it was fine I guess... but I wouldnt ever spend my money on one.

This car will cost you about 5k by the end of the year in repairs.
It was a piece of shit brand new and with that many miles, it's gonna break down for sure.
Unless the guy took care of it, which I doubt. That model of car goes along with these turds in the same age group.
Chevy Citation
Chevy Celebrity
Ford Taurus
Ford Tempo
Chevy Astro Van
Ford Aerostar
Dodge Aclaim
Dodge Caravan
Chrysler 5th ave
The list goes on and on. I can tell you what goes wrong and at what miles.
DO NOT BUY IT.....The worst thing out there than these cars above is a 240sx for that price.

I want a white one slammed on wacky-colored DRW's with white-lettered tires and a side exit pipe. And a ramp for the Ruckus.
EDIT: Wald Astro. Fucking WANT.

Hold on a second now, my pops had a GMC Safari that he bought new in '94. That fucking thing had 200k miles on it when he sold in '08 and that thing never once broke down, and never once had a major problem, no accessories ever even broke. Most solid, most reliable vehicle ever.
I cant believe nobody else mentioned that it was EXTREMELY FUCKING ODD that the OP joined Zilvia specifically to ask an opinion on a chevy corsica.
But, to answer your question, all the ones we took in at the dealership I worked at were turds.
