Does anyone use an Oil Extractor to change there oil?

Stick it in the dipstick to bottom of pan & pump it out.. Just wondering if anyone here uses one of these

I kinda like the warm fuzzy of changing my own oil and being able to see the condition of the used oil. That sump does look like it could have it's uses though.
