Why is this happening on university's campus more and more often? A student got killed in his dorm last semester at my university.

yep. i live in huntsville. there was another shooting about a week before that one involving two 14 year olds at a middle school. shot another kid in the head in the hallway. the one at uah was supposedly over the woman being denied tenure. seems like more people are on the edge of snapping these days.

What is particularly odd, is that the perpetrators are educated middle-aged women.
One would think they usually are the least likely group to pull something like this.
2 incidents make a small sample, but it's a shocking nonetheless.

You'd also think this sort of shit would happen more often at corportate offices,
esp with the mass lay-offs and all.
I've always thought the career of a college prof was leisurely, if not also lucrative.

I wish shooters would just off themselves instead of taking other peoples' lives with them... Such selfish fucks! This stuff makes me so upset sometimes :(
