KA24E rattling, can't find source

So whenever this motor is running it always has this rattle in the background. Until today I was convinced it was the power steering pump. So I pulled it today and the rattle is still there. Not too sure what would make this kind of rattle but as far as I can tell it was not the PS pump...any ideas.

I think that it is your chain tensioner might of broke and it is making that sound.

just changed the oil, I was thinking timing chain, but I have never heard one go bad so I really don't know.

radiator fan maybe? my dose the similar noise and i later checked it out on mine. it was the bottom that had no bushings to keep it from rattling

hmmm i'll have to check that.....It would be awesome if it was just a stupid bushing lol...someone told me they had the same sound and it was their flywheel....god I hope that isn't it

the hose clamp on your throttle body is loose.... you should add some brake fluid too...

anyways, sounds like timing chain tensioner and/or possibly valve tap. chances are, your timing chain hasn't been replaced

yeah the car is not on the road right now so some things are out of sort, the brake fluid is all going to be drained as it needs a complete brake rehab. I am going to check on all of these things and i'll post when I find the source.
