I would go w/ a stock bumber w/ the center opening w/ the cross (-+-) in the center cut out and slap a gracer lip on it. I've always loved the way that gracer lip looks.

 Nevermind!!! Don't do that!! That's what I'm doing. Try it and I'll cut you!! :axe:

Don't buy another mainstream "jdm" bomex bumper. Bomex is too common and the only Japanese kits besides Cwest and Veil side that the mainstream American knows. People think their stuff looks good just cause it's bomex. Even if it's one of their ugly styles. You should get something like.

... So that was what happened? I cannot tell anything from the pics because they are too dark for me.

Dude, he hit water and tore the entire assembly away from his ride exposing the intercooler. Lighten up your monitor manually, it is getting tired. You will be shocked by how bright your monitor can get when you tweak it./

mines pretty bright and its still alittle difficult to see, but i can certainly tell the water won this fight, thats a shame. my buddy destroyed his H23 in his prelude due to driving through a puddle and sucking up water in his CIA, sorta my fault to, he was following me and i didn't see the puddle:bash:

dayum...how fast were you going?

Usually people drive slow if they come across a river. You know....when there is a pond or lake next to the road.

I would get something else...maybe C-West or a knock-off that will go with your sides. I don't know how long you can drive like that until a Fairfax county cop jumps on you. :axe:

Ings doesn't make their bumpers in the same way as the other manufacturers do they? I've heard that they use some sort of "hybrid" material that makes their parts more flexible and less resistant to cracking/breaking. Is that true?

my rant:

nitekids: get off your high horse. you are an idiot. you come off here thinking "oh i know everything and im cool because i got 17x9 +15 and a d1gp bumper"

but you POSE! you POSE!
stop tryingto push stuff on everyone
what you are donig you are ALREADY 2 years in the PAST! people have been doing that stuff for SO LONG.

not long ago i recall a certain somebody w/ aR33 GTR STYLE bumper, wing and you still have those horrendous sideskirts. then you got the Typhoons in how high a offset? then the zeal bumper

you might be impressing newbies with your new bumper and all but you arent impressing anyone who knows about your past.

stop acting like your the sh*t.

Looks like your intake charge got nicely cooled down for a few seconds! Too bad it wrecked your bumper, though. Just remember that it could always be worse.. You could've hydroplaned and lost your car!

Let him get his enjoyment out of being showy and making people stand out and listen or look at him, thats his personality to show off and get attention. Im sure its much like people postwhoring, an attention getting device to make oneself bigger. same **** in my book....Both are a cry for attention.

:)

See nitekids u are loved!

they are very very subtle diffrences... he made a thread about it (of cousre :D)... but i would go with another style bumper... something shows off your intercooler :p

That's one huge FMIC you have. I think you should go with the GP Sports G Sonic Type 2 or Type R.

Nock Out Puppet
06-13-2003, 11:41 AM
The G Sonic Type R is a very nice one. I just got one for my s13.

s14vaxlr8
06-13-2003, 11:49 AM
the bomex got me hooked bc a: the price B: the size of the opening, you could see the whole fmic even through the vent holes
ive only got about 1000 to spend and i would like to keep the bumper under 600, cause then i have to paint and have it shipped, i guess we will see, ill have my decision by monday

Buy Nightkids' bumper!

s14vaxlr8
06-13-2003, 04:52 PM
i decided to go with the bomex uad-400 again, only bc i got it for 350 plus 130 shipping, it gives me some extra money for 2 new front tires also, and some camber adjustment, plus i never didnt like the bumper, it still is my favorite

how about the greddy front bumper? it pretty much looks like the stock bumper with greddy lip, cept it's got a wider opening for front mount

The Greddy front bumper for his car is the JDM Kouki S14 front bumper with a Greddy lip.

Someone correct me on this one if I'm wrong.
