12.6

As a freind in the 70's use to say, "honking balls"

Thew 12.3 I ran with the ZR-1 (mercury marine engine) 94 Corvette gives everyone an idea of how fast that is.

How is the pumpkin liking it?

What you running on a dynoRW?

Got caught up in the excitement of someone just getting it to run. You shave stock open diff, or what? And is it running up to par, or still a little sketchy?

Aries - Hey man, I saw/heard your car leaving that night at HIN. Looks good, decent 60', but where are the 11's? I know you got them hidden away in there... ;) Tell your buddy to hit me back on those LM-GT4's.

I love my SR20DET but I could be converted with something like that.

Nice car....even though I prefer S13s and S15s. That is a sweet S14!

wow, a big ol american v8 running a 12 in a lightweight japanese chassis. thats amazing

all i can ask is why? for the money, think of what you could have for the same amount. you could be running deep 10's or mid 9's

it looks nice, probably gets you show points, and is fast.

BUT WHY?

From my own point of view

Reason #1: It's legal
Reason #2: It's unique
Reason #3: Engine upgrades for chevy small blocks are easily attainable

The motor maybe legal. Is it legal to be putting into that car. I heard it has to be from the same manufacture and the engine has to be as new or newer than the chassis

Same year or later is usually good enough.

BUT WHY? You don't seem to understand...
12.67 on MOTOR. the car also runs a LOT of nitrous. What's a lot?
1st stage is 250hp, so you figure it out.
450+hp on motor + 250hp nitrous = really fast.
BTW, if you wanna know how fast it really is, here's a clue...
Calling Out The 10 Second 240's! (http://www.nissaninfiniticlub.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21242) was posted on Nico as a challenge to get more even races out of the 240 crowd. But it seems many of the guys claiming 10's are full of crap and woln't race me.

That's good stuff, Aries! How wide are those wheels & tires you're running? What kind of suspension work and LSD do you have?

I only know of ONE street car in the 10's, though I'm sure there's one more out there. None in the 9's. Not to take ANYTHING away from him, but even Greaser hasn't broken 10's yet and that's with a 1.6s 60'. If you've seen his SR or KA setups, they're quite sick. He's invested a lot of time and money and SKILL into it. I personally think Aries' car is capable of high 10's on slicks. I also think it's the cheapest way to put an S14 into the 10's.

How much heavier is the LT1 than the KA? I'm just curious how much it affects weight distribution. Very nice, though.
