So after a year i finally got my car pieced together and registered. Just a few things holding me back and my brake lights has down syndrome how can I fix?

Going from left to right:
1st bulb is just always on, brakes applied or not.
2nd bulb operates fine
3rd bulb is fine when the running lights are on, but will completely turn off when brake applied
4th light operates fine

check your bulbs.. make sure all of them are double filament. and make sure their not forced in there the wrong way.

from the looks of it, the farther on the driverside is a single filament bulb. and the middle of passenger side is on the wrong way.

Also check the housings for corrosion on the ground leads. S13 coupes are notorious for this, so are the early '93-'94 Altimas. I've never been behind one with functional lighting.

Also, check to make sure that none of the filaments on each of the bulb fused together. I had that happen on my S14 and I was getting some funky results. Just to be safe I would replace all the bulbs and check the harnesses as mentioned. Goodluck.

check the solder on the bottom of the bulb, resolder if it looks like a crater hope this helps you

I replaced all four bulbs. I'll check to make sure they are in the right way as well as connections.

As projectRDM said, i've never been behind one with functional lighting as well and it pisses me off.

Problem:

I'm happy.

problem now, after the lights were working fine. now the running lights are fine but when i hit the brakes nothing comes up.

Already checked:
Brake switch (is there supposed to be voltage going to the plug? i tried connecting a wire to both female prongs but nothing came up still.
