I recently purchased a 350z and I would like to sell my 240sx to a nice home. below is the description of the car and what is wrong with it and what modifications it has. I'm looking for 1800 or best offer. I'm in the columbia MD area and can arrange for you to take a look at the car.

Car:
1995 240sxSE
One accident on title 12 years ago (3 owners ago)
5 speed conversion
SE wing
Infinity rear speakers
(speaker AMP and sub w/amp available for cost)
Interior is in good condition just needs to be vacumed.
The car has some issues with it. The engine leaks oil but otherwise is running very well. Also the return hose for the power steering leaks a bit and needs to be replaced. Additionally one of the lugs on the rear right wheel broke but I have the replacement lug for it. I also bought new door hinges a while back but haven't had a chance to put them on. The door hinges sag a bit so when they are opened the door sits slightly lower than it should. Additionally there is some damage to the front bumper cover (you'll ask yourself what could possibly do that) and the front right part of the hood.
Work:
Tein tie rods
one piece steel drive shaft
new OEM rear brake calipers
new OEM clutch and release bearing
braided steel brake lines
braided steel clutch line
New OEM master and slave clutch cylinders

Yes it does. The AC is working well and as a side note I replaced the tensioner pulley for the belt that connects to the compressor. Its an OEM part so nothing fancy.

If the blizzard of 2010 wasnt going on, Id make a road cruise out and pick this up!
One question, whats the cable hanging by gas pedal, almost looks the the heater controoll or something, does the car have heat and defrost? How are the tires? And why does it leak oil, where is it coming from? Sorry that was like 5 questions, but I just sold my DD and got cash in hand! I could even deposit over paypal if all is good and wait out theis snow to pick up.... LMK whats up with the questions and we'll go from there.
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,
Ok in order that they were asked. The cable is actually the linkage from what use to be the automatic transmission shifter to the key lock for the ignition switch. I never got a chance to take apart the steering column area to remove that when I did the automatic to 5-speed swap. Because this was an auto to manual swap the ignition doesn't have the button that the 240 normally has on the ignition switch to release the key. Second the AC and heat on the car work perfectly. I even replaced the tensioner pulley for the belt that runs to the compressor a year or so back. The rear defroster mesh on the rear window is a tiny bit damaged but it gets most of the window. The tires are in good shape. I can check out the tread on them just to make sure once I dig the 240 out. I put 4 new Yokohama AVID tires on about 2 years ago and they are rated for 35k miles. I haven't come close to that in the last two years mile wise since I literally live 20 miles round trip to work and the car hasn't been my primary driver for the last 5 months.
Now on to the engine. I've gotten this question 4 times so far so its best to post the answer in the thread. From what I can tell the oil leaks from the timing chain cover. The engine leaks more oil the harder you drive it so it makes me think its the front main seal that needs to be replaced. I already replaced the rear main seal on the engine when I did the tranny swap a couple of years back. It leaks about a quart of oil or so a month and I normally run heavier weight oil in the summer to slow the leak. The engine isn't spraying oil but it should be taken care of.

So I dug the car out of my parking spot. Moved it to a clear one and cleaned off the areas that need photos taken of them. Unfortunately as I was about to take the photos my camera's battery went dead. I'm charging it now and hopefully it gets fully charged while there is still light out. If not I'll take the photos and post them tomorrow.

Ok so I took photos of the bumper cover and hood damage on the car. I also took it to get gas and for a small drive yesterday and the car is driving great. Having it sit there for a few months not as my daily driver has not had any adverse effects on the car. The pictures are in the second half of the gallery linked below.
