Can anybody help me out here? I'm looking for the best header/exhaust combo to make the most horsepower and torque. I'm gonna have about $1,100 to spend.

I'm guessing you have a 96' since thats your name..
Do you have any other mods?
I think the best header is the hotshot. The newest one. The older ones had fitment problems on s14's.
As far as exhaust goes, just match one to your application. smaller 60-70mm exhausts are better on NA 240's.
That's only cost you 700-800 though. You could always get a set of JWT Cams for about $350 I think.. excellent streetability, and they add about 10-15whp.

Yeah, my bad. I have a '96. , with no other mods as of yet. At present, I'm attending school at WyoTech, so I'm a little short on cash other than that. Planning on getting a job in a couple weeks. I think my mods are probably gonna be I/H/E, then suspension and brakes, then major stuff under the hood. Eventually want to get a class 3 turbo kit, but until that time, the header will be purchased, cause I want the horsepower gains. OT, anybody know what I could do to get more HP at this altitude? Being at 7,200 feet asl sucks power wise.

you could advance the timing a bit, it should allow for a little more air to get into the combustion chamber.
stock is +20 degrees.. I run mine at about 24 degrees with premium fuel.
Just so you do know... In the 95-96 the Cats are in the headers area.. and the Hotshot will remove them.. You might need to buy a High flow cat

I couldn't care less about the cat, Wyoming doesn't do emissions, neither does Oregon, which is where I am from orginally, and I plan on going back there since I'm only here for another 9 months or so. the only reason I would get a cat is if it affected the second O2 sensor.
