New to 240's and trying to get into drifting

hey im currently buying either a 93 240sx hatch or a 1996 s14.....ill have about $3000 after buying the car and wanted to kno which direction i shuld go in as far as buying parts. im trying to get into drifting and just need a little direction. thanks

get which either one u want
i reccoment getting a LSD, coilovers, bucket seat
give the car a general tune up with all new fluids plugs and plug wires
when LOTS of seat time
u can drift perfectly fine with a bone stock KA so no need for power yet

yeppp 3000 is really nice for LSD and coils just like 90hatchie said.

don't worry about power adders just yet.

if you feel you need to add some type of power, maybe open your exhaust a bit

MAYBE higher stage clutch and light flywheel (this is really my opinion because i love my toda flywheel, response is great)
