I have an auto transmission and was wondering if they make one for a 1995 240sx. Or if it is even worth putting in.

errr, the premise of a shift kit is to shorten the throw on a manual transmission. If you are looking for a "mod" for an automatic transmission you could look for an aftermarket shifter (purely cosmetic) or a torque converter which is defined as:
A particular kind of fluid coupling with a third element added to the usual input and output turbines. Called ""the stator,"" this additional element redirects the churning fluid against the output turbine, increasing torque. This torque increase, however, is achieved at the expense of rpm and efficiency.

Actually rad, a "Shift Kit" is a kit that is installed into automagic slushboxes (sorry, I had to :D) which quickens the shifts and often changes the RPMs that the tranny shifts at. What you're thinking of is an aftermarket short shifter, which quickens shifts by reducing the throw of the shifter via a difference in the leverage point of the shifter.

Doh!, sadly my automatic transmission experience is rather limited thanks for catching and correcting that transient
