my pc is definitely better for graphics. but, multiplayer fps i'd take console for less cheating and a set graphic setting. i remember my moh days so many losers cheating.

i played it, again. to see if i could force myself to like it. movement/combat is just clunky. mag got it pretty good even with a controller.

I will never go back to MW2 after playing this game. I don't know what you guys are talking about, but it's VERY fast paced. It's intense when you get into some battles. Not to mention the realism of the game is amazing. Fully destructible environments, bullets fall over long distances (makes for some FUN sniping) and when you're getting shot at all the sounds and movements are crazy.

I'll be going to Game Stop and preordering this probably this week.

but enough with the arguing. how does demolishing a building really work? I usually just end up going assault and launching nades on every side of the building, sitting next to an ammo dump. Get off and detonate your C4.

seems like the people that play this game actually work together and try to accomplish the objectives rather than run around and be one man army ie. MW2. out for my own stats and shit.

ran with a nice squad yesterday. each of us were a certain class and we stuck together making sure we threw down health/ammo packs/revived or fixed vehicles. probably won 7/10 games with that squad.

liking the XM8 compact gun very much.
and just in case people dont know. if you spot an enemy you can press select and it will put a little red triangle on their heads and gives a little heads up to your teammates where they are.

Its so hard to find people that will work together. I only have one buddy that has the game so I only play limited amounts with him at a time the rest im by myself. Hard to come close to winning with people running around MW style. This game does rock though.

Love this game.

However, bad BlackHawk pilots piss me off the most. I mean, come on if you have a full chopper trying to shoot out the doors then why are they flying like a fucking fighter jet around the bases. Slow it the hell down and let your gunners protect you, move fast when you need to avoid rockets(your gunners should be warning you).

Game is 10x more fun with a good squad, almost always win when my friends are on to play.

I love stabbing fools in this game. It is not just the stabbing that motivates me, its their dog tags.

I played 2142 so this is like visiting home. Very different gaming environment than MW.

Honestly, you would be surprised about how many people DON'T know that shit. I was playing with a squad last night (I was sniping, spotting everything that moved because I've got the spotting scope) and they were confused that the enemies were being shown on their screen and they didn't know how to do that. Anyone else roll with a shotgun when they play the recon class? I love the mortars and C4 but I'm not a big fan of sniper rifles.
I dont play the recon class as a sniper class, it's more of a anti-tank/objective holding class for me.

lol i use the saiga sometimes when using recon, to defend mcom stations. saiga is real accurate at close~medium range and good fire rate. I normally use the mortar stike with the recon class.........

I've always ended up with a whole squad full of snipers. Those are the best one to knife. I'm almost at platinum for the knife.

like last night, my whole team were on the edges of the map just trying to pick off people, you know...trying to "get theirs". even if my team was losing i wouldnt stop, i might as well be the best on the team and get mad xp and make the other team watch out for me more than the other guys.


what makes me rage is when im medic and running with a group of people and we're having a fire fight with the enemy and i die. none of them pick up my kit to revive me or a medic doesn't revive me to get back the life points. sure they'll throw down a damn health pack but that's just half assing it. when im medic im reviving everyone and every where.

for the most part i only snipe when im defending. use C4/mortars to blow up any in coming tanks that are trying to blow up the sites. i love "counter" sniping a sniper from across the map with like a SAW.

lol well looks like he used medic most of the time, and like he said before he would mostly heal/revive team mates. so it would make sense. you get lots of points for healing/reviving people especially when a group of your mates are standing around a med pack, and you reviving as well. assault would have the same effect as well but i hardly use that class and only gotten 30exp. been using engineer a lot and love "counter" sniping with a stationary HMG and button smash the select button lol :hide:

Or you could sit back, spot every person you see. You can also post up over-looking the M-Com stations and snipe anyone arming/disarming.

Yeah, it's bullshit when there are 4 snipers in every squad, but then you just have to mix it up a bit.

actually, i was using the saiga with the recon class and one of my squad mates was tossing out ammo boxes and i kept tossing motion sensors and got lots of point for "sensor kill" assists, also helped the assault guy with exp too.

but seriously, battlefield is one of the best games i've ever played for the sheer fact alone that you can BE IN A TANK with your friend on the mic w. you picking off enemies. Such a sick game, battlefield 2 was much better, more heli control, you could pull off crazy shit. Much higher flight ceiling. Air battle isn't isolated anymore because they don't have controllable planes. If you were a good enough pilot in a chopper you could take planes out, took skill though.

I use to love knifing but recently it hasn't been registering for me as well. Id say out of 10 knifes I go for, about 4 of them don't register right and the enemy capitalizes.

VSS + red dot is ownage. almost done with recon class than im done with everything. i hope later on there will be more items cause they're so many like columns that are blank. im beginning to love recon class. with the C-4 plus the VSS its basically all the classes mixed into one.

My current favorite beside knifing is setting up C4s near the flags in conquest. Hello double/triple kill. C4 on the MCOM give you points for destruction as well.

Yeah that's one thing do in rush mode. Takes a few C4s but every bit helps. I also plant c4 around the box then plant the bomb so when they come to defuse I'll blow them sky high and get doubles/trips cause like the whole team comes to protect each other.

Butters - if I was you I'd start either with medic or engineer. You'll lvl up quicker and help your team more

I was trying to knife a door but I moved a little and hit the wall instead....and shanked someone through the wall ha. He was hiding in a corner waiting for someone to enter a d defuse. I'm sure he quit or threw his controller after that.

EDIT: got my best combat score last night. 6700 while defending using recon/medic. held that shit down till the last m-com center.

By the way, on the 360 version they added more servers to help reduce the lag. It's worked so far.

I've had this for awhile but don't play all the time, fromXtoR on 360 of course. I usually use the engineer class, occasionally assault. I would really like to unlock the health packs and de-fibs on my medic class, but unlike on MW2 I hate the LMG.

not a fan of the update where they basically made all the guns the same damage. when i unlock/lvl up i expect to have stronger weapons. this isnt about making the game more balanced.....if you're a lvl 1 and playing with players with more experience...well sucks to be you.

its not even the fact its a "crutch". i play with lower lvl guns more even though ive unlocked everything. but saying what is the point of unlocking shit when all the guns are basically nullified. unlocking is a reward and you should be rewarded with "upgraded" weapons.

the game was balanced enough. not like mw2 with all the kill streak crap.
