Does anyone have any experience with Cobra seats? I emailed their sales guy who says their brakcets for the 240 will not sit the seat any higher than stock. I'm not sure I believe him. But, if they do, I might consider buying their seats. You can only get thier rails if you buy thier seats.

I'm not buying bride rails.. I don't need my seat to move. No one else needs to drive it. LOL

If all else fails, I get a sparco pro2000 and get custom brackets made.

This is the one I'm looking at specifically:

Check out www.subesports.com

I'm pretty sure I can get it for about $650. Super nice seats from what I've found on them. Wish I had a place to try them out.

or if your rich.. you can gt the $1700 CF version:

actually should sit low as stock depending how the rail/slider/sidemount is designed
sidemount you are far safe as far as choices
oh and you DEFINATELY want a slider w/a bucket
if not you MUST BUY a detableable steerign wheel hub or you will not be able to get in and out of your car! believe me!!!!

damn cant wait to be my bride. that was my 'new toy' but it fell thru due to las vegas event (long story i wont get into) bride USA prices are surprisingly MUCH better so i guess i'll get a brix shortly. anwyays...sorry

sykikchimp: i send you pm in a moment...check it out if you can

Quick release steering wheel hub is in the works. no worries.

The next project after the 5-lug swap/300zx brakes will be the Seat/quick release hub/roll cage/harnesses project

THREAD HIJACK! :P
where can I find pricing on BrideUSA stuff? I've been waiting ever so patiently to be able to get at least their low-profile sliders.

I saw an ad for their seats in some Muscle Mustang magazine. The seat was even nicer (IMO) than the pics posted here, all black leather and reclinable.

HIJACK! :wavey:

how mix & matchable are sliders?

like - if you got a set of bride or cobra sliders that we know don't sit you any higher than stock, do you have some options for seats or do you have to use bride seats with bride sliders?

bride sliders and rails are one unit for bottom mount
not sure about side mount..i think its one unit too..but not 100% sure

You could try adapting stock rails to work with it by making a simple adapter bracket. I sat in a sparco bucket that was done like that and it was very low. I would think it would be safe, though I'm no expert on that.
