Why would you only go one up on the rear sprocket. One hardly makes no difference. One down in the front is equivalent to 3 up in the rear?? Just wandering?? And is that a white wheel up front and a gold wheel in the rear? I think that this bike was downed at higher speeds. If it was a low speed then it would have never got claimed to insurance, and the owner would have fixed it himself because if it was at slow speeds then the only thing that would have gotten scratched were the fairings. Most deductibles are 500$ fairing kit is about 600$ I see no reason in claiming insurance to save 100 dollars and deal with a salvage title. Im not saying that its not worth 2500$ but that would be the most! I would reccommend for any person to have this bike thoroughly inspected before buying.

One tooth might not make a difference when your a squid trying to power wheelie in first but it will drop your top speed 8-10 mph in 6th... I wasn't the one who dropped it so I cant say the exact speed it was going in the accident. The fact that it evidently went down to one side and slid instead of tumbling dramatically reduces the damage. If it had flipped or tumbled it would be in pieces. And it takes very little to salvage a bike. oem fairings cost upwards of 2000, even just the oem decals are into the hundreds if you get them from dealer. I had another one of these gsxrs that was totaled from a 5 mph front hit. And yes I would definitely expect any serious buyer to inspect it before purchasing. I have rode it, it rides fine and anyone interested seriously can do the same.
