For sale is a 1992 nissan 240sx (fastback) DOHC motor, 5 speed,salvage title, car (http://zilvia.net/f/#) is currently registered

selling it because i dont have the time and space to fix it..
i hate letting it go but need a reliable car to get to work and school.
the car still starts but might need a rebuild i dont know if its the pistons or the valves.
did a compression test on it and the numbers were pretty even except on #4 cylinder..
car still runs but starts smoking at the tail pipe
after u drive it a few minutes

Has no stereo or speakers (bought the car that way)
The passenger seat is torn so is the drivers seat

its lowered on tein springs and tokico shocks..front springs are cut
Car is mostly stock

Asking price is $1000 OBO

Till when is the car registered? When is next smog needed? Do you know why its salvaged? Recovery, accident, does it have frame damage?

car is registered till 2011...the next smog would be a year from now...salvaged cuz i got hit on the front...no frame damage that i know of.

How many miles on the motor? And you say it runs, does it drive? Does it have to be towed or can it be driven?

the motor has 169xxx miles... it turns on u can drive it for a little bit then it just starts to hesitate and starts smoking at the tail pipe...i would towe it its better that way..dont recomend driving it

its white at first..then when u start driving its a mix of white and blue smoke....what trades r we talking about?
