I'm getting more and more practice drifting, but i've reached a plateau because my car leans and rubs on the tires.
I'm a suspension newbie so what components will I need to get to where my car does not lean to the side and rub my tires when sharp turning?

JFJ, you got to give more inforamtion than that.
Im see you have posted a bunch of times, I would not know how to respond to your questions without a link to your car or background
Q
::
What car.
What tires.
What milage on the car.
What setup you got now.
How long you drifted.
What competition level.
Dude, I can ask a general question and get all kinds of BS answers, you got to give some history.
Based on osmosis...?????????????????????????
I would say coilovers, better tires, lower profile, rims that have proper offset, more skill behind the wheel to keep the car within the limitations.
Dude, no one here professes to be a mind reader/distant viewer.
You want solid answers, give details and solid questions. We do grow tired of babysitting a post to get you to ask the right way in order to have an educated response.
Sorry dude, I am not flaming you..I want you to know the "tood" around here is to at least go into some sort of detail/history before an adaquate response could be rendered.
You could be 13 years old, 25 or 45. HTF would we know your experience level or anything else.
Be a pro, talk like one, give accurate complete info, and someone here will give you an accurate and complete answer.
I certainly don't want to go through that again...really./

sounds like you have OE equipment. if money is not a prob, i would suggest some sort of damper kit like the TEIN SUPER STREET Damper or something similar. strut or sway bars for rigidity. drop about 2 inches for better control. but i do require more info to give a better response as bill stated.

I'd love to know also, as long as it's not on the street. All of our tracks are strips. :bash:

They do any drift events? All I see is auto-x. I seriously want to get some track time after my car's in order, San Antonio is a day trip for me.

Just chill guys.
Yea, its OE equipment, and I guess the sway bars will be the key component here, and tokico struts / eibach springs are on the way.
As far as drifting goes, I would rate myself a 4 on the scale of 1 being a guy who just stomps it around corners and 10 being those japanese drift guys. (don't call me a hopeless n00b, i practice all the time)
And for the location, lets just say my High School has a nice bus circle thats pretty generous except it does have a sharp bend at one point.
Also, would over inflating my ecsta supras (30 psi) to 36 psi help my tail slide out a bit more?

Damn Jerk face, not even keeping up with his thread and now turned to conversation (which is cool as well)
Don;t you just hate when a poster does not keep up with their post?
Edit, I see you finally came around....(Sorry, not flame but not the info we needed to answer, what you post now, much better)
Unless it is an exibition and it goes off track which is cool.
PM-ing folks are not looking after their PM's and thread folks that post are either trolling for answers or interactive,
I think Interactive is the key, if it is a good topic and question, which this one was clearly NOT.
Edit, Jerk face decided to give some input..)
Dude needs to interact or not post...at all. What a waist of a post for him actually.
Again read the edit..

I would say so. Less contact patch and stiffer sidewalls helps.
What is the year and make of your car?... and yes I am quite calm, thank you.

His profile says he has a 91' fastback... Nothing more about tire size, modifications, while we do now know that the suspension is stock, which is the first of his problems, it is probably quite tired after 12 years of life. I say it's time to refresh the bushings, of course springs and struts, with something of really good quality if he is serious about it and for heavens sakes, please don't do this in public, it's always fun until someone innocent gets hit.
