Keep seeing those "VIS" hoods on ebay and wonder if anybody is using one? I have a 95' and want to put a carbon fiber hood on it, and these are running about 450.00 with shipping. Most of the others I have seen are around 1,000 so.... Have you seen or used one and know how they fit?
Thanks

Thanks PHLIP!
That sealed it for me (I'm gettin' a VIS) and I appreciate your superior searching skills as I could not find that thread..
For the record I did find that the Zenki version is supposed to weigh 18 pounds.
So glad to know that it fits... Now I gotta find some black hood pins to go with it.

No prob, wasn't much of a search, I just remembered the thread, because he has been riding my ass because I'm getting his old CF hood and money escapes me at the moment... I don't know the ecact weight, but it doesn't weigh much at all. You should like it, Steeles does.

And from what I understand, you can order it from VIS and ask them NOT to put them in there, then wait 5 months for your hood and STILL get washer nozzles, if that doesn't suck balls.

I plan to order an S15 hood from them as soon as I find the money. Does anyone know what an invader CF may look like on an S15?
Slightly OT, but still on the topic of VIS. I just found out they offer a dummy Intercooler kit (called "Intercooler effect kit")...this is almost as good as the speaker driven BOV.

I got one of the VIS hoods off ebay. It fits very well, and it weighs half as much as the stock hood.
Seller jtr-sport is legitimate and easy to work with.
