yeah there used to be more girl drifters, maybe they are laying low? i know the drifting pretty had a lot, but im not sure i think most gave up? its expensive hobby.

I have a black '91 hatch, my SR should be here sometime next week from Japan.
I also have a stock blue vert that is my DD.

Yeah I think it all depends on the driver and suspension. I've seen a KA do some pretty awesome drifts, then I've seen a SR'd car spin out the whole course. I think you can have too much power in drifting and some people don't see anything but HP.

The only reason I'm getting an SR is because I had a huge hole in my KA block. Plus I'm a sucker for the BOV!

SRs are nice i love em! just its hard to maintain/install, alot of my friends with SRs have trouble with them, and on the track they are the ones spinning out the most, but if u can tame the beast then ur GOD lol

and yes hasan the ecu is great! the car is much better! smoother ride/gas saving/ hits rpms alittle bit faster =) hehe i drifted my car, and i feel like the ecu helps me control my rpms better, 1st gear drifting reving to 6000rpms was a blast! and my bf told me the drifting is WAY smoother so thanx!

and Ooo OG 240 hub caps are the shit! i wish i still had mine =/

- SR's are not hard to install.
- Your friends are shitty drivers.
- There is nothing god-like about being able to properly drift an SR-powered car.

Having a vagina and liking cars are not mutually exclusive. Neither are using the internet and using your brain. I highly recommend the OP does thorough research and learn about everything before speaking about it with any semblance of authority. I'm not a drifter yet, but I got my '91 240 hatch about 6 months ago. As soon as I have the engine running good I'm going to take her on the track. She came with an SR20 and that's about it. Still has stock steel rims, lol! Don't really care if she looks stock for now just as long as I can get her to run like a champ and I can have some fun on the track :)

It would be totally awesome to have a girls drift meet!

You shouldn't believe everything you hear. Do what Meph said and research. There is a wealth of knowledge to be found on these forums. Read through the tech sections and general chat etc. Search. search, search.
