status seat owners

just wondering if i can get some feedback from the owners with these seat. such as how fast they fade, how you like them, how they hold up ect, and if my fat ass can fit. im a 36 waist. thanks

your prolly going to want the "gt" model of the status seats. For the bigger size.

Yeah they run pretty small. They hold fine not sure if they fade quick as I didn't have mine for too long maybe 5 months but I'm waist size 34 and it was pretty tight so I ended up getting something a little bigger.

i have a status le mans seat. Im a 28 waist and that thing is snug. The seats are nice and stiff side bolsters are high. Best bet is to sit in one. Gluck trying to find a place where you can test fit or finding people that fit them. My seat is red. No signs of fading but then again car is never in the sun. I know mine even with the helmet guard doesnt hit the door panels on an s13 or an s14.

what seat would you guys recommed for a guy my size, 36 waist 6'1 around 210? i have heard good things about the sparco evo 2 but i also hear they fade SUPER fast

That's strange, I had a regular evo for a while and didn't fade at all (black though...).

Also an off road guy I know runs an evo, and he gets a lot of seat time. Doesn't seem faded, though often times very muddy.

I've sat in a Status Ring GT before and fit perfectly fine. I'm 5'7 size 34 waist.

I love my Status racing seats. I've had my pink ring seats.. they fit snug so just try out all the seats. However, I've had my seats for over 4 years and they have never faded or ripped... pretty awesome because I part my car outside all year long. :drama:

The regular corbeau FX1 is up to a 36" waist....and it didn't fit in Nagisa Low rails I had....sold those gigantor things within a week of owning them.
