Anyone else experience this? After my ISIS Tomei clone started tarnishing, so did everything else underhood. My darn dipstick is now orange with rust along with most fasteners where the plating has been scratched and a lot of the underhood aluminum is pitting and turning white. WTF?

galvanic corrosion maybe? i dont know how it would get everywere though. it happens when aluminum and other metals that arnt aluminum touch.

sounds unrelated OR maybe you should use heatwrap.
i had a cheapo ebay manifold which i had used DEI exhaust wrap on and really kep tunderhood temps down and did not see the problems you are experiencing.
however, the cheapo POS manifold warped horribly at the flange that connects to the head so i had to can it and go back to the stock manifold (which i'm happier with).

My civic did that exact same thing when I had my hood tilted, and I forgot to reinstall the under splash tray.
oxidation was everywhere, it was horrible. I had to use wd40 to remove it all.
