lol, when I was in Chicago at the "Body" exhibit at their MOSI they had a camera that you looked into and it would perform a series of tests for whatev reason. An Asian lady was sitting at it and the screen kept saying "Error: Unable to Focus, Try opening eyes" haha, I was thinking "poor lady", but I think she just thought it was broken.

seems like there is a bit of both w/ the jdm 'material'.
japanese girls generally are good with makeup.
Their culture also favors chicks with big eyes.
Their makeup/grooming/photography tends to emphasize that.
