Ya, a long reading. Interesting for this guy to reflect on his teenage years. But ya, a long reading for when i am really bored.

WOW! that was really long. But oddly enough I read the whole thing and found it very true.

Interesting read, though my high school was a bit different. Maybe it was having graduating classes of 100-150 students. Maybe it was the relatively homogeneous income distribution (no "rich kids"). Maybe it was because we were all out in the woods and things were just weird there... But the popular kids were also the brightest, for the most part. That's just how it worked. My older sister and I have both had to explain to people how, the 'A' lunch table this guy describes would've been having lunchtime conversations about politics and heading off to AP classes.

in the words of Neo/Keanu Reeves: WHOA...:p
this essay should be passed out to all high school students, although it may cause some type of rebellion, so maybe not. i was just planning to read like the 1st couple of paragraphs, but everything he was saying is so true. this especially makes me wanna go back even more to high school :wtc: oh well...
I decided to major in the most impractical subject I could imagine: philosophy. :bigok:
