Hey frendly zilvians please help me i have a flooding issue, so i own a 92 coupe with a redhead sr20det, the only upgrades i have is fmic, 3'' exhaust, high flow fuel pump and a tuned ecu, used to have a t28 now back to t25. So when i start it it idles great but once i rev it and let off the throttle it just dies, then wen i try to start it up again it wont start, i have to disconnect the injectors (cuz its flooded) to start it and then connect them back and it runs fine. So i replaced the spark plugs oem just one step colder and gapped at .030, replaced o2, tps, maf, stock ecu, checked for leaky injetors, checked for vac leaks, the bov isnt connected but also checked doesnt leak. I pulled the plugs after several start ups they are scary black. Ive been searching for hours for the last several days idk wat to do any help will be very appriciated, thank you

How did you check for leaky injectors?

It sounds like your injector o-rings are bad. If you haven't replaced them, go ahead and replace them. It sounds like your problem.

i took off the hole fuel rail with the injectors in it and turned on the ignition, it wasnt leaking, is that the rite way?

try replacing your fuel pressure regulator

yeah that's right.

I was going to suggest that ECU but it seems you've already swapped back to a stock unit. Are you sure you don't have any leaks; are you seeing a lot of black smoke? Possibly check the IACV.

Are you running stock size injectors? Are all 4 cyl flooding?

Already tried replacing the fuel pressure regulator.

Not much black smoke more like grayish clear, but ya all the spark plugs are black so i think all of them are flooding. I tried scwirting some oil into the IACV tube to lube it inside maybe but no luck, ill probly have to get a new one anybody know were i can get one cheap?

Ya the injectors are stock.

No i dont think i have a leak i couldnt find one, ill check again tho

Also checked the coolent temp sensor connection seem fine, maybe replace it

replace your coolant temp and try to bleed your coolant system. Sometimes an air bubble interferes with the sensors reading and may allow your car to run rich. I would also try to take the car to a shop that uses a smoke machine, because some fuel leaks dont occur unless your actually driving the car where the smoke machine can simulate operating pressure.

o yea a smoke machine sounds great, but i found another problem. I have coolant leaking from my oil pan how strange, and my oil level is over full and im getting white smoke out the exhaust. So im thinking a cracked head or the gasket, its leaking into the chamber so the o2 gets a bad reading and tries to richen it up wich makes the plugs black and possibly flood or maybe doesnt start cuz of the coolant in the cylinder, what do you guys think?
