For those selling wheels please read.

Why is it everytime someone tries to sell wheels here it is like this:
"I have 4 gunmetal/polish Watanabe/SSR banana style wheels. Includes tires. They are 16x7 and other looks like 8 or something. Email me at [email protected] if intersted."

How about:
1.Making clear just how many of each wheel if you are selling different brands/colors.
2.Exact model name.
3.SIZE!!!?
4.For god's sakes, list the &^*%ing offset!!!! I will never buy wheels without knowing this! I don't care if you say "it
fits 240's." "Fit" is a relative term and is in the eye of the beholder, and depends on mods to your car. If you don't know, FIND OUT!
5.Damage, if any.
6.Weight would be nice.
7.If tires are included, brand and condition.
8.Post PICTURES!!!!!!!
9.Bolt pattern.
10.Uh, price?

IF you do this more people may be interested in buying your wheels $$$, so this helps everybody!

Sorry, but I am a little ****ed about wasting my time emailing people about specifics of wheels that turn out not to be what I am looking for.

not everyone sits on the computer for so long to write it up. if it interests you, email them for more specific information. that is, if you are a serious buyer

actually
my wheels are sold BEFORE they post online. already got a buyer. :D

ive sold all my wheeels this way or by posting them online w/ brief info, sometimes a with pic-i dont have digital camera so pics arent' always common (um....4 different sets, maybe 5?)

no they'll check their email
some people have jobs and other things going on
if you are intersted email and wait. otherwise, keep looking

brand...check
style/type...check
size....check
offset..check
contact info...check

now offset might be in question for a variety of factors:
illegible on sticker(s)
sticker was removed
no markings are wheels

i've owned BOTH when like that
one the marking was rubbed off/dug out
another set the sticker was removed.
hence the seller has to estimate the offset.


so what's your problem?!

I'm sure you CAN sell wheels this way. But for the peace of mind and quick service, I'll pay extra elsewhere. I'm sick of waiting for replies from emails while other wheels I'm also interested in get sold. Have a nice day.

You can find offset with a straight edge and ruler. As critical and expensive as wheels are, you would think people would make the effort.

would you trust an idiot w/ something so important as a proper offset reading?

The FS Forum is NOT a venue for complaints.

There are no set guidelines for selling items, and generally, the information you gave in the fake fs post is usually sufficient for anyone interested. If the post said "Wheels for sale, fits 240sx"
Then THAT would be a cause for complaint.
Your complaints are uncalled for, although your attempt at making Zilvia better is noted and sppreciated.
