Brake fluid level switch - E47 (S13)

Do most of you all that have custom minimal harnesses run this? I'm thinking of removing it from my harness since it's just fluff. If I'm reading the FSM correct, it grounds when low, causing a relay to turn the dumby light on. Should I be fine in removing and depinning it from the harness?

Incorrect. There is no relay. The switch grounds the warning light bulb.
