Ok so came across the trailer for the new Tekken movie. IMO the beginning of the trailer doesn't look all that great at first, but then it gets better. The way the cut scenes are where the words show up is really cheesey too. But overall I think it's going to be very good. At least better than the live action Dragonball movie.

I was pretty excited about it at first, but now I think there isn't anything on this earth that can make this pile of shit awesome now. This director fucked up royally. I can't believe this is supposed to be coming to U.S. theaters instead of straight to DVD. The JDM version is already on the torrents.

I'm watching the movie right now. Actually, Yoshimitsu is in it. You're lame for wanting Alex, Roger and Gon in it. Kuma maybe, but those others are wack.

Is it just me or does it look like they filmed this shit with an Iphone or something? Storyline is crap. But the fights are pretty good and make it worth a download. When will they ever let Capoeira win a fight in a movie besides Kickboxer 4!?

This is why I get upset when I see Capoeira in big budget productions. They always foster misinformation and misconceptions because they don't understand African martial arts. Capoeira isn't anything like breakdancing and is very difficult to anticipate. What most of you ppl see and think you know about Capoeira are for exhibition/promotional purposes. Capoeira is a fighting style, a game and a dance all at the same time. Depending on the situation you'll use your skills differently. Capoeira for actual combat incorporates alot of knees, elbows, takedowns, headbutts and powerful kicks from unexpected positions. You wouldn't use most of these techniques against your classmates in friendly exhibitions, so the public doesn't see them as much.

...I don't see that happening. Quite thankfully. The movie is worth watching if its free, but you got punked if you paid to watch this.

^^^Video game moves always suck, but this was at least better than the DragonBall horseshit. They didn't miss any important characters. They covered their bases pretty well and actually didn't stray too far from the storyline of the games. It was just executed terribly and without any heart.
