Question about speedo and pfc accuracy

A couple of days ago I was on the highway with my s13 that has a sr20det(s13) and pfc. My friend and I were weaving in and out of traffic, he was in front of me in his 1990 toyota cressida with stock 7m motor. I was in 5th gear and my speedo said I made it to 115(speedo ends). When we stopped and I asked him how fast he thinks we went, he told me that his speedo only said around 85mph. I looked at my pfc to see what rpm and kph i hit. The comander said that i did 178kph(110mph) and around 5500rpm. I am really confused if we went 85 or 110. I do remember that I was feeling the boost in 5th gear, so the 5000+ rpm was in 5th gear.

Will the speedo and pfc tell me the same number, because they share the same speed sensor signal?

5500 RPM in 5th is way more than 110.

I have a spreadsheet I was using to do calculations, and I just checked it.

Get a GPS unit to test the speedo.

Between my GPS, UK spec cluster & Commander they all read different.

My cluster reads about 3 miles lower than my actual speed, the PFC is way higher IIRC. Normally only care about my knock and water temp on the commander anyway. If he was in front and your playing catch up it's possible.
