i was thinking that maybe someone who does an sr swap could have someone videotape everything they do (multiple tapes of course) and sell it to people who need it, you could make some money and help out at the same time, has anyone thought about this? or is it a stupid idea?

i'll do it, if you gave me 6 grand to buy an SR20 and all the needed parts, and a camcorder, sure, i'm more than willing ;)

I dunno.. It's a pretty well documented swap and it's very straightforward. Might consider doing it when I get around to selling the Z and buying an engine. It would be the world's most boring video, haha.

Might be better on a CD. Like those computer training sets. Would be able to pick your chapter, have some info on what is going to go on, a quick step by step, then a video of anything that needs more explaining. Would be cool with the SR and 240 FSM's added in and diagrams outlining any wiring, vacuum, heater hoses, etc. Only problem is it would be alot of work and would just end up being copied and whoever made it would end up not getting anything back out of it....
Unless of course they "Microsoft" it and make a bunch of "accidental" mistakes that have to be fixed in upcoming releases.
