Can anybody help? I broke all 4 bolts that go on the flywheel;I dont know what to do,I have a converted 5 speed s14.At first I thought that it was the high revs that caused it to go out, originally I though it was the throw out bearing, then as I moved the flywheel, it wiggled way too much and sure enough I unbolted the pressure plate and all the half bolts fell out the flywheel. Now I have the flywheel out but the bolts are stuck tight. All I've done so far is unscrew the 12" screws that are there.Does anybody know what to do?please help.

did the bolts break off INTO the crank?
If so... Time to break out the ez-out or get the holes retapped.

did you use the flywheel bolts from you auto flex plate? Because they are about 1mm shorter or so, not really enough to keep a tight hold on the flywheel.

^^ this is the best thing. you have the room to drill and ez-out the bolts.

Not four, five;only one made it out.I will take pictures asap.i didn't ever replace the bolts,so they were worn out.I'm gonna have to pay to get it done right.Hopefully that is the only problem.

So wait...if the car was converted from auto...go punch who ever torqued the flywheel bolts down. If the head sheared off the studs, then somebody fucked up the torque on it. Either they didnt step torque it down or they didnt cross patterned it when they tightened the fuckers down to 100 ft/lbs.

Weld something to the bolts or drill em' out, your choice.

Like everyone else suggested. Spray a ton of PB blaster in there, drill the center, and use an EZ out. Make sure to use a good set of EZ out and the right size. If you break an EZ out in there, good luck trying to drill that out. There will be a lot of cussing involved.

Just make sure you don't strip the threads. You will be SOL if you do.. M13 thread repairs kits are hard to find.. Even just taps..
This is the only place I have even seen a repair kit for the M13 x 1.25 threads.. Welcome to Lawson HIS, Hampshire's leading tool and industrial consumable distributor based in Southampton on the Solent (http://www.lawson-his.co.uk/scripts/products.php?cat=Recoil%20Thread%20Kit%20Metric%20 Extra%20Fine)

This was my first thought and I think what probably happened
It doesn't sound that hard to just drill them out like any other ordinary bolt...

The shitty part is that the flywheel bolts are some of the hardest bolts you'd find in the car. Take your sweet ass time drilling them and be very very patient. Last thing you need to do is come in crooked and drill into the crank.

u need a new crank cuz that happed to me. and i redrilled them and tapp to 350 chevy bolts and triple lock tight them and that shit only lasted 2weeks. and u still have to figure if the flywheel is still in round .so dont do it just get a new crank and bolts and maybe flywheel if ur is out of round.

Easy outs are fail!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! if you have access to a welder, weld a nut to the end of the broken bolts and back them out that way...
