I highly recommend anyone that's into The Matrix trilogy to watch this DVD. This DVD is composed of 9 short films created from Japanese animation and CG-animation. This DVD will tell you about how life was before the Matrix and what events led to what you saw in the first movie The Matrix. There is another film that is a prelude to the second movie The Matrix: Reloaded which explains how Zion found out about the machines going after them (in more detail). One film shows you how someone is freed from the Matrix, while another shows how someone is almost there but not just quite. They have a film that will show you how a bug or error in the Matrix is described. Also shows you what happens when you walk into this error and also how it is found and fixed. The last short film is what I believe is a prelude to the third movie The Matrix: Revolutions. This film shows what the humans are doing when they reach the surface and how the real world is another matrix.

Basically this DVD will give you a better understanding to The Matrix and I think its a really good DVD.


BTW....even though this is all animation....some scenes are quite violent.

ive only seen 2 of the animatrix movies but they were pretty good. gonna go buy the dvd this weekend

are the 4 animatrix episodes that are up on their site (http://www.intothematrix.com/) on the dvd? cuz i dunno if it's really worth buying if i'm only getting 5 episodes...

Juss dl it, saw em all a while ago, pretty nice, some odd, some cool, some very vulgar, but its all good.

Yes. The DVD contains 9 episodes, 4 being the ones available on the site for download.

the dvd was pretty crazy. the animation for kid was crazy. i really liked it and its gesture quality. and the oh no oh no, god please help NOO!!! that was the scariest thing i have ever seen. my heart was pounding SOOO hard. :axe:

i watched a few of the movies and while they were really cool...the credits in between the movies were killing me :mad:

If you have the DVD you can watch all 9 films without the credits inbetween.

It is a really sweet dvd...Watched it all last nite....In the short film "Kids Story"..that is actually the kid who is in Matrix Reloaded, the one that follows Neo around...
The last short film on there is the craziest though, definitely captivating...
Nice Asian girl thong shot on another, three thumbs up !
