can i use a redtop s13 sr20 head on an s14 sr20 shortblock?..........whats the wiring difference from an s13 harness to an s14 harness for the sr20?

Yes you can use a s13 redtop head on a s14 block. The only modification you would need to do is plug up the timing chain tensioner oil pressure hole in the block. The s13 and s14 gets oil pressure from different sources for the tensioner.

You can still use the s14 wiring harness on the s13 head. You just won't have VTC. You will also have to rewire the IACV plug since the IACV plug is different between s13 to s14. I can help you with that if needed.
