S15 Airbag/Horn hook-up

The previous owner of my car put on an s15 steering wheel and I looked at the hub by taking off the side panels of the wheel, finding that the electrical connection clips on both sides were not hooked to anything. Would it be the same clip from stock or does it require modification?? I plan on taking off the entire wheel to check if the wires and things are behind it, but I'd like to know this info before I go any further.
