Hi, my car at the moment is already in a nissan dealer being serviced and I need a new clutch. I don't want to put the stock clutch, because I want an aftermarket one. I'm looking for just a street/strip clutch. Something nice so I can race once in a while with friends, or go to the dragstrip, etc. Any suggestions and prices, and where to order?

I'm sorry I can't search. My internet keep disconnecting and it's slow as ****.

Thanks.

I just read up on the ACT street clutch kit and the SPEC stage clutch kit. What's the difference between these two clutche kits?
I always read about when people get the SPEC stage clutch, they get the stage 2 kit. What's the difference in the stages?

Get the ACT stage 2. I believe it is the street clutch. BLIEVE ME, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THAT DECISION. It is my favorite clutch in the world. I liked it a million times better than the Centerforce dual friction clutch, that thing was pure ****.

I dont have any comparison to the other brands, but I had an ACT street clutch in my 240 and I was very happy with it. The pedal did feel very stiff and seemed to engage much further in, but was still not too harsh for normal driving.

what is the act stage 2 clutch? what disc does it use, the 6-puck or street (oem) disc? They all use the same pressure plate, act only makes one pressure plate for the ka24. The pedal force on the act is probably way higher then it needs to be for a engine with minor mods. I would get something with a stock pressure plate, but a little bit higher heat capacity disk. The spec clucthes seem nice, but I haven't driven any of them. The centerforce seems to work fine on my friends 400hp awd talon that he drag races, so unless the genius that I quoteed can give some better reasons why act is far superior then centerforce, I would go with centerforce purely because the pressure plate isn't as stiff and it will be much nicer to drive everyday and still hold up to all the abuse you can throw at it with a stock engine.
