View Full Version : Does my check engine light work?

In all cars i have seen the check engine light will iluminate when the car is first turned on, However on my 92 240sx with sr20det swap i have never seen it come on. Is there any way to check this?

It's probably not properly wired up. Did you do the swap yourself?

yeah i did the swap myself. Every thing else seems to work, i used the info of srswap.com where would i have missed something?

There's a red wire that goes to the check engine light on S13s from the ECU.

Dunno, maybe the SR engine harness doesn't have that wire at all?
